Pretty Trashcan

I came across this metal stand a while back and I think it was originally meant to be a plant holder. But I decided to give it a new purpose. A trash can! It's not that difficult of a project. But it's looks so much better now. Take a look.

BEFORE

After I spray painted it black...

Then I took some sand paper to the raised swirl designs, wiped it clean, then brushed on some top coat from this "American Accents Distressed Antique Kit" to bring out the original copper color.

And this is how it turned out!

Pretty eh?
